Privacy, in plain language
This website is built to collect as little data as possible. Here is exactly what we process, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are
Velantra is a European software engineering studio building operational software for service businesses. We are EU-based and GDPR-native by default — for our clients' platforms and for this website. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at hello@velantra.com.
Data we collect on this website
Very little, by design. This website sets no cookies unless you explicitly accept analytics (see below). Fonts are self-hosted, so your browser makes no requests to third-party font providers when you visit.
Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure processes standard server logs when a page is requested. These logs contain:
- Your IP address
- Your browser's user agent string
- The URL you requested
Server logs are used solely for security and to deliver the site reliably. We do not use them to profile visitors.
Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are read, where visitors come from, and whether our content is useful. It runs in consent-restricted mode: no analytics cookies are set unless you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you decline, or never make a choice, no analytics identifiers are stored on your device.
If you accept, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser information. Google LLC processes this data on our behalf under Google's data-processing terms. We do not use it for advertising, and advertising features remain disabled.
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser — the consent notice will be shown again on your next visit.
When you email us
If you contact us — for example to book a discovery call — we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to manage our relationship with you. We do not add you to marketing lists or share your details with anyone for advertising.
Legal bases
Under the GDPR, we process server logs and correspondence on the basis of legitimate interest: operating and securing this website, and responding to enquiries you send us. Analytics data is processed only on the basis of your consent, which you may decline or withdraw at any time. Where our correspondence leads to a working relationship, processing may also become necessary for the performance of a contract.
Retention
We keep correspondence only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was sent — for example, while an enquiry is open or a client relationship is active. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data rectified
- Have your data erased
- Restrict how your data is processed
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond without undue delay.
Third parties
We do not sell personal data — not to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. Two third parties are involved in operating this website: our hosting provider, which processes server-log data on our behalf in order to serve the site, and — only if you consent — Google LLC, which processes analytics data as described above.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add a contact form or new infrastructure — we will update this page and revise the date at the top. The current version is always the one published here.
